Electrical Project Engineer

King & Moffatt provides mechanical and electrical building services from design and installation through ongoing facilities maintenance across construction, industrial, logistics, pharmaceutical, data centre, healthcare, commercial, hospitality, residential, public, and energy projects.

What you will do

• Review project details, designs, specifications, technical submittals, and drawing revisions.
• Raise and track RFIs, maintain project schedules, and coordinate progress reporting with Contracts, Project Management, Design, and Quantity Surveying.
• Follow up on long-lead plant orders and support variations, changes, and procurement.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance, attend site meetings, and manage external correspondence.
• Redline as-built drawings, maintain the document management system, and compile operation and maintenance documentation.
• Support commissioning and handover while ensuring compliance with building, health, safety, and EHSQ requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of tendering processes.
• Working knowledge of MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different project requirements.
• Ability to work with project documentation, technical specifications, and construction compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD.
