Electrical Engineer for Seat Integration (Aerospace)

Location: Hamburg, Germany; mobile working is possible.

What you will do

• Develop and document complex electrical and electronic system requirements and solutions for commercial aircraft passenger seats.
• Review supplier electrical drawings, diagrams, and equipment qualification data for seat integration into aircraft.
• Prepare and review design and certification documentation for aircraft seating products.
• Coordinate with the Office of Airworthiness, regulatory authorities, and aircraft type-certificate holders.
• Supervise supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive aerospace industry experience within an EASA- or FAA-approved Design or Production Organization.
• Experience as a Design Review or Verification Engineer with electrical-discipline terms of approval.
• Experience with aircraft interior modification programs and the electrical aspects of seat integration.
• Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, DO-178C, DO-254, and System Safety Assessment.
• Experience with OEM data systems and tools such as CATIA V5/V6, ENOVIA, IVT, or AutoCAD.
