Propulsion Systems Engineer (Space Propulsion)

What you will do

• Develop electric propulsion subsystems for new space projects during the realization phase.
• Coordinate propulsion requirements and technical interfaces within the satellite platform and with subcontractors.
• Manage the technical procurement of thrusters, power processing units, and flow-control equipment from suppliers.
• Perform analyses to size and support the design of propulsion subsystems.
• Define verification philosophies and test requirements for subsystem and platform testing.
• Prepare technical documentation and support design activities, MAIT, LEOP, proposal work, and technology development.

Requirements

• Degree in aerospace engineering, physics, or a comparable discipline.
• Professional experience in the space industry and electric propulsion is advantageous.
• Experience in systems engineering and requirements engineering.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• German language skills and test experience are advantageous.
