Propulsion Test Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Bremen, Germany; flexible arrangement balancing remote and on-site work

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and execute equipment-, subsystem-, and system-level tests for space systems.
• Create, maintain, and improve test plans, specifications, procedures, scripts, reports, and non-conformance resolutions.
• Specify, procure, develop, and maintain test equipment and test infrastructures.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders during test campaigns, including logistics, transportation, and test setup and decommissioning.
• Provide technical guidance on testing methodologies, hardware concepts, and verification strategies.
• Support test campaigns, launches, commissioning, in-orbit verification, and knowledge transfer through lessons learned and best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.
• Experience with flight, test, or integration hardware and technical testing and verification activities.
• Proficiency with software tools for data acquisition, analysis, and evaluation of test results.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments with strong quality and safety standards.
• Accountability, reliability, hands-on approach, communication skills, and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work shifts during test campaigns, launches, early operations, and in-orbit verification.
