What you will do

• Collaborate with product and design teams to define and deliver backend services and APIs.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services using modern Java and Spring Boot.
• Apply clean code principles, contract-first design, and robust automated testing.
• Guide and mentor engineers, championing best practices across the team.
• Work with operations teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of live services.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and modern Spring / Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Commitment to automated testing across different layers.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Self-driven mindset with experience taking features from concept to production.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
