Portfolio Manager - Development Portfolio Management (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Manage multiple renewable energy development pipelines and coordinate closely with developers to achieve investment objectives.
• Lead value maximisation activities, including exit timing, sale preparation, revenue contracting, and last-mile development.
• Provide strategic oversight and direct management for portfolio companies, supporting board directors and fund managers with briefings and solutions.
• Monitor investment valuations, financial performance, risks, and portfolio KPIs to optimise returns and resilience.
• Implement and improve governance frameworks, participate in operational committees, and act as a board observer.
• Work with fund managers and commercial managers to deliver fund objectives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong commercial acumen and a proven record managing investments, assets, or development pipelines against investment objectives.
• Senior-level ownership, initiative, collaboration, and the ability to support the growth of team members.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, project management, data, and reporting.
• Experience establishing and managing corporate governance structures.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives for portfolios of businesses or developers with renewable assets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills across diverse groups.

Nice to have

• Experience selling renewable energy assets at the development, construction, or operational stage.
