Senior Project Manager UK

Location: Hybrid remote, United Kingdom; office in Glasgow

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives and multiple related projects.
• Develop project plans, define success criteria, and lead project teams toward milestones and strategic objectives.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, quality standards, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control.
• Coordinate stakeholders across technology, marketing, product development, business units, vendors, sponsors, and universities.
• Provide executive-level status reporting and resolve conflicts, critical-path issues, and delivery blockers.
• Help establish project management practices, templates, policies, tools, and organisational capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including project planning and tracking.
• 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Jira, SmartSheet, MS Project, Excel, Miro, Office 365, and Confluence.
• Strong stakeholder communication, negotiation, prioritisation, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in the United Kingdom.

• PMP or Agile certification.
