Senior Data Scientist with Causal Inference (Econometrics)

What you will do

• Develop cross-product price elasticity methodologies and causal econometric models for ancillary airline products.
• Analyze substitution, complementarity, cannibalization, and portfolio interactions to optimize total ancillary revenue.
• Define assumptions, assess identification bias, validate results, and extend the client's Elasticity Playbook.
• Design experiments and interpret results using causal frameworks to support pricing and business decisions.
• Build proof-of-concept use cases, review analytical implementations, and collaborate with science experts.
• Communicate complex findings to stakeholders and transfer knowledge to pricing and business teams.

Requirements

• PhD in Econometrics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is mandatory.
• Proven experience in causal inference, econometrics, pricing science, demand modeling, or cross-price elasticity.
• Advanced Python skills for scientific work; experience with R is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of experimentation, including A/B testing, panel data, and quasi-experimental methods.
• Experience with statistical testing, bias assessment, model validation, SQL, and BigQuery.
• Fluent English is required for team communication and documentation; Spanish is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with statsmodels, pyfixest, scikit-learn, MLflow, and Docker.
• Spanish language skills for regional collaboration.
