Senior Data Scientist (Causal Inference)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 3 days/week on-site)

Salary: $240,000 – $260,000

What you will do

• Design measurement strategies for complex initiatives using experimental and quasi-experimental methods like geo testing, difference-in-differences, and synthetic control.
• Evolve org-wide metric strategies by connecting product development and marketing efforts to business performance.
• Lead deep root-cause investigations into business and product performance for novel, complex problems.
• Serve as a domain expert in causal inference, reviewing measurement designs and raising the bar for evidence quality across the data team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related quantitative domain.
• Deep expertise in causal inference methods and their real-world application.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for statistical data processing and production-quality analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative findings to technical and non-technical leadership.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco at least 3 days per week.
