Senior Software Architect (C++)

Location: Manching, Germany; flexible working hours, mobile working, and part-time options are available.

hirify.global develops high-fidelity flight simulators and complex engineering and training simulation systems for aircraft.

What you will do

• Design and develop distributed software architectures and frameworks for infrastructure and operations.
• Design and implement modular infrastructure frameworks that control and integrate multiple IT systems from startup through deployment to shutdown.
• Create tools that improve development processes, including code generators.
• Coordinate closely with other software teams.
• Perform integration and acceptance testing while ensuring excellent testability.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in software architecture, design, and development.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
• Experience with IT infrastructure projects, such as Terraform, Nomad, or Kubernetes.
• Excellent C++ skills; experience with Qt, QML, Go, Ansible, or Python is welcome.
• English at negotiation level.
