Combat Fuel, Inerting and Fire Protection Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Define architectures for fuel, inerting, and fire protection systems across combat aviation programs.
• Allocate functions, requirements, performance targets, and integrity levels to subsystems and equipment.
• Specify systems, subsystems, and equipment using Model Based Systems Engineering methods.
• Develop hydromechanical, functional, performance, and thermal models of systems and components.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, Airbus engineering groups, programs, airworthiness, procurement, flight test, safety, and customer support.
• Prepare certification and qualification documentation, technical analyses, and test requirements; support rig, ground, and flight testing and investigate in-service occurrences.

Requirements

• Engineering degree.
• Mandatory experience with hydromechanical systems, preferably in aerospace applications.
• Working knowledge of modelling tools such as Matlab, Simulink, SCADE, or Amesim.
• Experience with aerospace systems controls and monitoring, data analytics, and systems engineering processes is valuable.
• Negotiation-level English, written and verbal, is required.
