Test Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid remote options are available.

hirify.global develops demonstrators to evaluate, mature, and validate innovative aerospace products and technologies, including aircraft electrification systems.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end laboratory testing lifecycle, from test requests and instructions through execution, analysis, reporting, and problem resolution.
• Execute complex functional and electrical failure-mode tests, including short circuits, arc flashes, and altitude-environment emulation up to 55,000 feet.
• Make real-time decisions during high-risk electrical test runs to protect facility and specimen integrity.
• Configure sensor acquisition chains, instrumentation, oscilloscopes, high-speed cameras, and temperature sensors, and verify signal integrity.
• Analyze post-test data using specialized tools and produce formal test result analysis reports.
• Maintain laboratory logbooks, problem reports, and configuration control for hardware, sensors, and bench software.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in test campaign execution, system verification and validation, and laboratory testing in electrical systems.
• Degree in Electrical, Industrial, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency with test support and data exploitation tools such as NI TestStand, NI DIAdem, MATLAB, or equivalent systems.
• Strong experience with instrumentation, signal acquisition, test setup installation, and troubleshooting.
• Analytical, methodical, safety-focused, and calm under pressure during complex test operations.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrical systems, test bench design, control systems, or hardware-in-the-loop.
• Spanish language skills.
