Lead Inventory Management Analyst (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia. Onsite work at the Penang SDSM Office.

What you will do

• Lead the transformation roadmap for inventory management across manufacturing operations.
• Develop an integrated, digitalized, data-driven, and automated inventory management platform.
• Strengthen inventory governance, physical inventory controls, accuracy, traceability, discrepancy management, and preventive controls.
• Connect inventory processes with factory automation, inline logistics, IoT, RFID, sensors, real-time tracking, and automated data capture.
• Build structured data platforms and advance analytics from descriptive and diagnostic to predictive and prescriptive capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional programs involving Manufacturing, Engineering, Automation, and IT, managing roadmaps, risks, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in inventory management, manufacturing operations, digital transformation, operational excellence, or factory automation.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, physical inventory governance, manufacturing material flow, and traceability.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, with familiarity with MES, WMS, or shop-floor systems.
• Understanding of business-process digitalization, data platforms, system integration, workflow automation, IoT, and manufacturing automation.
• Strong project and program management, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume automated manufacturing.
• Experience with wafer and component management, non-standard inventory, production accessories, cleaning processes, production kitting, and material movement.
• Awareness of AI applications in manufacturing.
