Production Shift Supervisor (Viaflo)

Location: Thetford, Norfolk, United Kingdom. Onsite rotating shifts are scheduled Monday–Sunday between 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00, for 42 hours per week.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing, filling, and packaging operations for the plant shift.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS standards, legislation, product specifications, and housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor shift performance, complete reports, identify improvement actions, and meet daily output targets.
• Lead recruitment, training, development, succession planning, absence management, and performance management across the shift.
• Coordinate training records, breakdown support, and collaboration with production, engineering, quality, and site management teams.
• Drive production efficiencies, lean initiatives, and cost improvement projects while managing annual budgets.

Requirements

• Experience as a production supervisor in a highly regulated environment.
• Several years of experience leading, supervising, and developing operational teams.
• Strong people management skills and experience leading staff and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with structured problem-solving tools, Lean Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
