Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Ashby site, United Kingdom

Salary: From £48,770 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus scheme.

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, and develop Supervisors, Team Leaders, Blenders, and Operatives.
• Manage daily manufacturing processes, resources, schedules, productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Drive compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Monitor, analyse, and present production KPIs and performance data, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage performance reviews, employee-related matters, training needs, production records, and management reporting.

Requirements

• Relevant advanced qualification in manufacturing, operations, or a similar discipline.
• Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing employee-related matters and workforce development.
• Strong analytical, communication, organisational, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills.
