Solution Engineer (Data Storage)

Location: Singapore; hybrid working with in-office and/or in-person expectations

What you will do

• Provide pre-sales technical support for complex storage products, applications, and solutions.
• Present products and demonstrate technical capabilities to sales teams and customers.
• Assess customer needs, design tailored storage solutions, and prepare detailed implementation specifications.
• Design and architect on-premise and hybrid systems using NAS, SAN, Object Storage, and cloud services.
• Build proof-of-concept applications and rapid prototypes to demonstrate solution feasibility.
• Advise executives and partner sales teams using product assessments, ROI/TCO analysis, and broader technical resources.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience with technical specifications for storage products and services.
• Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Architect, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect focused on storage technologies.
• Strong knowledge of NAS, SAN, Object Storage, cloud services, backup solutions, and the storage and data management vendor ecosystem.
• Ability to operate as a subject-matter expert, influence sales teams, drive initiatives, and make decisions on projects.
• Experience with storage, cloud, AI/ML, databases, microservices, enterprise applications, or DevOps is advantageous.
