Lab Test Means Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Toulouse, France; onsite at the Flight and Integration Test Centre. Occasional business travel in Europe may be required.

What you will do

• Prepare documentation and execute testing and deployment of hardware and software components.
• Define technical deliverables for subcontracted activities and manage related purchase orders and receipts.
• Update test matrices, support bug fixing, and drive technical updates on integration benches.
• Harmonize test procedures and technical means with European test facilities in Filton, Hamburg, and Bremen.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a designer, developer, or tester in lab test means, instrumentation, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical interfaces for test systems, including racks, connectors, and cabling.
• Strong knowledge of avionics system interfaces and protocols such as A429, AFDX, discretes, analog, and CAN.
• Basic knowledge of computing machines, networks, cybersecurity rules, and programming languages.
• Intermediate English and willingness to undertake occasional business travel in Europe.
