Librarian (Client Experience)

Location: Gold Coast campus, Southport, Queensland, Australia; may require work across other hirify.global locations.

Salary: AUD 82,415–92,456 per annum plus 17% superannuation.

What you will do

• Support clients and library staff in accessing library resources, information services, and university referrals.
• Provide expert guidance for complex client enquiries and train Library Campus Services staff.
• Analyse and evaluate service data to improve user-focused services and systems.
• Develop and document policies, standards, protocols, and procedures for quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with library teams on projects and engagement activities that enhance the client experience.
• Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing learning and development.

Requirements

• Degree in Library and Information Science with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience enabling professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with professional staff, academic staff, and students.
• Australian work rights are required.
• A National criminal history check may be required.
• Visa sponsorship is not offered.
