TL;DR
Director, Strategy, Planning & Analysis (Digital Transformation): Leading digital transformation strategy, market analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional initiatives across Sony companies with an accent on digital innovation, opportunity assessment, and executive decision support. Focus on designing business models, evaluating emerging technology trends, managing transformation projects, and driving organizational change.
Location: Culver City, United States; hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week in the Culver City office
Annual base salary: $185,000–$210,000, plus a 22% annual bonus target and eligibility for RSUs.

What you will do
- Develop and execute digital transformation strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for digital innovation, growth, and new business models with executive leadership.
- Lead competitive analysis, market research, opportunity sizing, and trend analysis.
- Partner with Product, PMO, Business Innovation, Engineering, Data Analytics, and companies to align initiatives.
- Oversee transformation project planning, execution, KPIs, budgets, and delivery timelines.
- Present strategic plans to executives and the board while leading change management and employee enablement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in strategic planning, digital transformation, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in digital technologies, data analytics, and project management methodologies.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change; management consulting, investment banking, or leading technology company experience is strongly preferred.
