Director, Consulting (Healthcare Transformation)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite per week.

Salary: $214,900–$242,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead large-scale organizational transformation and multiple complex, Institute-wide projects.
• Develop strategic solutions, roadmaps, business cases, organizational assessments, and value-creation plans.
• Direct project management office activities, including governance, risk mitigation, reporting, resource planning, financial management, and change management.
• Coordinate planning with anticipated clinical partners and assess business, financial, operational, and implementation impacts.
• Influence C-level stakeholders, build consensus, and secure commitment to recommendations and implementation plans.
• Develop consulting frameworks, mentor staff, and manage up to six Planning and Consulting team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MPH, MHA, or MBA is strongly preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant project management or strategic experience in healthcare and/or consulting.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of consulting practices, large-scale transformations, planning, project management, and facilitation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-influence, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead teams in a complex, changing, deadline-driven environment.
