Group Strategy Director, Commerce (eCommerce)

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, or New York, New York, USA

Salary: $165,000–$175,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead the development, growth, and strategic direction of the agency’s eCommerce Strategy discipline.
• Scale the eCommerce Practice and establish consistent approaches, methodologies, and outputs.
• Oversee eCommerce Strategy Directors and junior strategists.
• Partner with Creative and Account leads to shape omnichannel strategies for Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other marketplaces.
• Build practice infrastructure and strategic frameworks while contributing hands-on to client innovation.
• Drive thought leadership, business development, and client growth.

Requirements

• Experience leading eCommerce strategy and growing a commerce-focused practice.
• Ability to develop strategic frameworks, methodologies, and consistent client outputs.
• Experience shaping omnichannel strategies across major retailers and marketplaces.
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring strategy teams.
• Ability to partner with Creative and Account leads and support business development.
• Availability for hybrid work in Chicago or New York, USA.
