Client Consulting Director, Visa Consulting & Analytics (Fintech)

Location: Ashburn, Virginia, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $173,100–$276,800 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments.

What you will do

• Sell consulting services and manage a portfolio of target clients, building a consulting sales pipeline and achieving revenue goals.
• Lead consulting engagements for U.S. financial institutions, issuing banks, and credit unions across North America.
• Define project scopes, timelines, resource requirements, methodologies, recommendations, and solutions.
• Develop strategies for market expansion, profitability optimization, customer segmentation, growth, product development, acquisition, retention, and portfolio enhancement.
• Collaborate with account executives, marketing, sales, risk, innovation, New Flows, and global Community teams.
• Analyze internal and industry datasets and use AI and agentic workflows to improve consulting efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Experience in management consulting or at a U.S. financial institution.
• Experience in payments or financial services, including banking operations, payment schemes, card issuing, and related products and systems.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the use of financial indicators and ROI measurement.
• Ability to close sales, manage multiple priorities, provide strategic thought leadership, and build lasting client relationships.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, and collaboration skills, with a technology mindset and awareness of digital trends.

• Experience working with the Community client segment.
