What you will do

• Inspect purchased parts, materials, components, manufactured parts, equipment, and finished goods before shipment.
• Develop and perform inspection and audit methods, sequences, and procedures.
• Use drawings, specifications, industry standards, sketches, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Lead cross-functional teams in resolving quality issues and document test results and quality problem reports.
• Apply statistical methods and advanced problem-solving techniques to identify complex root causes and solutions.
• Approve or reject products for shipment based on inspection results, while mentoring less experienced peers.

Requirements

• Advanced specialized expertise in an analytical or scientific area.
• Ability to read and interpret intermediate technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using complex precision measurement, inspection, testing, and gauge equipment.
• Understanding of statistical methods and applications.
• Basic CMM use and programming capability.
• Ability to coordinate with related teams, exercise independent judgment, and provide guidance to junior team members.
