Quality Associate (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Oakland, California, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship. Relocation and housing assistance are not provided.

Salary: $19–$22 per hour, approximately $3,293–$3,813 per month.

What you will do

• Inspect and measure purchased or produced materials according to drawings and established procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and tests using the required equipment and data systems.
• Audit work-in-process materials and production activities, record results, and report quality issues to production leadership.
• Monitor high-risk activities to verify compliance with updated quality instructions and governing procedures.
• Enter Quality Notifications in SAP and communicate required corrective actions.
• Assist with training and support for other inspectors while maintaining safety, cleanliness, organization, and teamwork standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of related experience, including one or more years in an inspection role involving similar materials.
• Experience with visual and dimensional inspection and precision measuring tools.
• Basic ability to read technical drawings.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to work safely in a production environment.
