Purchasing Buyer

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite at the hirify.global Minhang Office

What you will do

• Support end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities, including purchase order creation and processing.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules, product availability, and operational issues.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, escalations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with finance and accounts payable teams.
• Maintain procurement records, prepare reports, and support supplier documentation and administrative processes.
• Ensure purchasing activities follow company policies, ethical standards, contracts, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in an administrative, purchasing, or sourcing role.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and terms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic experience with ERP or procurement software are advantageous.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
