What you will do
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate supplier, material, and component risks affecting manufacturing and patient supply.
- Lead end-to-end responses to supply disruptions, including triage, business impact assessment, containment, recovery planning, escalation, and resolution.
- Coordinate Procurement, Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and suppliers to secure supply and remove delivery barriers.
- Manage supplier communications, challenge recovery commitments, monitor performance, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed.
- Manage assigned suppliers and lower-spend categories, including negotiations, commercial agreements, supplier performance, cost savings, and contract support.
- Support alternative sourcing, supplier transitions, last-time buys, risk reviews, reporting, and continuity process improvements.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze inventory, supplier lead-time, production schedule, ERP/MRP, and continuity management data.
- Experience managing supplier or material shortages, disruptions, or continuity issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of procurement, supplier management, supply planning, logistics, incident management, root cause analysis, and CAPA tracking.
- Understanding of supplier qualification, validation, change control, and regulated manufacturing requirements such as ISO 13485, MDR, and FDA expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Fluent English is required for spoken, written, and reading communication. Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing is required.
