Systems Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required 10% of the time. The role includes remote and onsite support for field personnel.

Salary: $138,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems while contributing to system engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with project marketing and management to translate subsystem requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead architecture brainstorming, evaluate design approaches, and drive subsystem architecture selection.
• Build and qualify prototypes or test outsourced subsystems against detailed specifications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, integrate, and test systems across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software disciplines.
• Identify and mitigate risks, address serviceability and manufacturability challenges, and verify reliability and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of professional experience.
• Experience with systems thinking, engineering analysis, system architecture, integration, and testing.
• Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software domains.
