System Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and analyze systems supporting electron-beam metrology and inspection products.
• Set up experiments and collect scientific data.
• Model systems and analyze experimental results.
• Apply machine control, instrumentation, signal processing, and optical or electro-optical systems knowledge.
• Solve complex technical problems and prepare effective technical presentations.

Requirements

• Doctorate or master's degree in physics, engineering physics, engineering design, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or materials and metallurgical engineering.
• Doctorate with 0 years of related experience, master's degree with 3 years of related experience, or bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to set up experiments, perform modeling and data analysis, and solve complex technical problems.
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as MATLAB or Python for scientific data collection and analysis.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of instrumentation, signal processing, and optical or electro-optical systems such as electron microscopes.
• Experience with vacuum systems, electron optics, and high voltage for scanning electron microscopes or equivalent systems.
• Hands-on experience with machine control and scientific data analysis.
