Learning Partner (AI Education)

Location: New York City, on-site

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global implementation across New York City schools, supporting partners’ goals in AI literacy, instructional transformation, and operational innovation.
• Design and deliver school-based trainings, professional learning communities, and coaching experiences focused on AI literacy and app-building.
• Support educators and students in planning, deploying, and refining AI learning experiences aligned with school priorities and emerging standards.
• Coach and co-design with educators and school teams to create AI tools and learning experiences aligned with pedagogy, curricula, and context.
• Help school and district leaders plan strategic AI adoption, set goals, manage change, and scale their work with hirify.global.
• Bring field insights back to improve learning resources, platform features, and partnership strategy.

Requirements

• Experience working in or with K–12 schools, especially in New York City.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience leading inclusive, outcomes-driven adult learning.
• Experience coaching educators or supporting school teams with new instructional tools or practices.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across diverse and complex school systems.
• Confidence using and explaining AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other LLM-powered applications, with attention to instructional values.
• Flexibility, strategic thinking, and comfort working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.

Nice to have

• Experience as a New York City educator, coach, or school or district leader.
• Experience leading large-scale instructional technology or professional development initiatives.
• Familiarity with hirify.global or similar AI literacy tools and platforms.
• Experience supporting student- and adult-facing AI initiatives.
• Bilingual Spanish and English skills or a strong network across New York City schools, districts, or education nonprofits.
