TL;DR
Sales Consultant, Foot & Ankle (MedTech): Growing and developing a Foot & Ankle healthcare professional customer base in the San Francisco territory through product sales, surgeon education, clinical case coverage, and account management with an accent on orthopaedic medical devices and operating-room support. Focus on building clinical relationships, expanding new and existing accounts, supporting surgical cases, managing inventory and product delivery, and achieving territory sales goals.

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory is required. The role includes travel, field calls, on-call support, and operating-room consultation.

Compensation: Bi-weekly draw plus incentives.

What you will do

  • Grow and develop the Foot & Ankle healthcare professional customer base across the assigned territory.
  • Sell the Foot & Ankle product portfolio to new accounts and expand business with existing customers.
  • Present, demonstrate, and support the proper use of products for surgeons, clinicians, hospital staff, and operating-room personnel.
  • Provide clinical case coverage, field calls, on-call support, and operating-room consultation as required.
  • Build clinical relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators while collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager and Trauma partners.
  • Manage inventory, promotional materials, product delivery, invoicing, administrative duties, and territory sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher plus at least 2 years of experience; or an associate degree and/or Certified Surgical Technician qualification plus 6 years of related experience; recently transitioned active-duty military candidates may also qualify.
  • At least 3 years of selling, account management, or related experience; military experience is considered.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory and operating-room environment, travel as needed, and work independently within a matrix team structure.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, business acumen, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States and residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted San Francisco territory are required.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to legal, ethical, compliance, and company policy requirements.
