Business Systems Analysis – Specialist (Data Analytics)

Location: Irwindale, California, US; hybrid work with required residence and work in California

What you will do

• Analyze complex business, customer, operational, and system data to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
• Support Energy Efficiency and Income Qualified Programs, enterprise reporting, data management, and operational reviews.
• Document project requirements, process flows, functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, wireframes, and mockups.
• Support domain and data architecture design, capability roadmaps, strategy development, testing, deployment, defect resolution, and production support.
• Collaborate with business, technology, program, and data stakeholders to develop practical solutions and communicate insights to senior management.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in information technology development.
• Experience supporting business systems, data analytics, reporting, business operations, or information technology functions.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, and visualization tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, or Tableau.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating business needs into system enhancements and reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Must work and reside in California unless otherwise noted.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing dashboards and actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
