Staff Product Manager - Energy Services (AI)

Location: 100% remote within the US and Canada; Toronto-based candidates must work in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Quarterly travel to Toronto may be required.

Salary: CAD 155,000–210,000 annually for the Toronto, Ontario location. US ranges are USD 170,000–230,000 in Boston and USD 150,000–205,000 in Chicago, plus variable compensation.

What you will do

• Define and lead the Energy Services product strategy and roadmap.
• Translate market opportunities and customer needs into product bets and deliverables.
• Identify, shape, and deliver AI-enabled capabilities across Energy Services.
• Lead product development from problem definition through launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Partner with engineering, design, data, commercial, and operations teams on scalable solutions.
• Build partnerships with utilities, DERMS providers, and OEMs while developing business cases and governance metrics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management or equivalent experience.
• Experience building and scaling software, platform, or service products in energy, smart home, or connected-device ecosystems.
• Experience shipping AI-enabled product capabilities and collaborating with engineering and data teams on requirements, evaluation, and iteration.
• Strong product strategy, execution, analytical thinking, requirements definition, risk management, and trade-off decision-making skills.
• Experience working in regulated or partner-dependent environments such as utilities, demand response, distributed energy resources, or connected homes.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder influence, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
