VP, Benefits

Location: Stamford, CT, United States; hybrid work with required commuting to the nearest Hub for in-person meetings, training, and culture events.

Salary: $110,000–$185,000 annual, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and manage company-wide health and welfare, retirement, 401(k), and wellness benefit programs.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to align benefits strategies with business objectives.
• Analyze, model, and implement innovative benefits programs with consultants, brokers, insurers, and administrators.
• Manage internal and external vendor relationships and ensure benefits operations support current and future needs.
• Communicate benefit programs to employees and complete assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of employee benefits experience, or 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in an organizational benefits function.
• Expert knowledge of benefits planning, design, development, federal and state regulations, filings, and compliance.
• Strong business partnering, consulting, interpersonal, communication, and senior-leader influencing skills.
• Experience managing healthcare costs and creating HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt employee populations.
• Experience with integration efforts, benefits best practices, and complex project management.
• Experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
