HR Business Partner Manager (Central Operations)

Location: Chicago/Aon Center, with 3 days per week onsite

Salary: $104,200.00–$130,200.00 base salary per year, plus performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Act as a strategic HR business partner for Central Operations leaders across plants and technical functions.
• Lead talent development, performance management, manager coaching, feedback, and development planning.
• Develop talent strategies for technical employees, including hiring and career development in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
• Guide workforce planning, organizational design, talent movement, and succession planning.
• Lead organizational development, transformation, continuous improvement, technology, and standardization initiatives.
• Manage organizational effectiveness, budgets, process assessments, cost optimization, and organizational redesign.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role supporting a client group, preferably a technical-focused group.
• Experience working in a shared services HR model with Centers of Excellence in a matrixed organization.
• Experience supporting transformation or change initiatives.
• Strong core HR knowledge, executive presence, verbal communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Ability to advise on local employment laws and labor requirements and interpret business and financial metrics.
• Ability to work onsite at the Chicago/Aon Center 3 days per week.
