People Business Partner (HRBP)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary People Business Partner for stakeholders across product management, underwriting, actuarial, business development, and enabling functions.
• Advise leaders on organizational health, talent, performance, workforce planning, and people risks.
• Coach managers on performance management, difficult conversations, team development, and leadership effectiveness.
• Drive culture and engagement initiatives, identify issues early, and track measurable progress.
• Manage employee relations cases from intake through resolution with disciplined documentation and risk-aware judgment.
• Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, People Programs, and Total Rewards on integrated people initiatives and workforce insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience with strong depth in employee relations and performance management.
• Experience supporting technical, product, or business-development organizations and building credibility with subject-matter experts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and provide clear recommendations.
• Ability to independently manage employee relations matters consistently, confidentially, and in a legally sound manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, banking, or another regulated industry.
• Property and casualty insurance experience.
• Experience supporting actuarial, underwriting, reinsurance, or MGA/program functions.
• HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or GPHR.
