Senior Foundry Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductors): Improving product quality and manufacturability for TVS and AMW products through foundry collaboration, process development, testing, and failure analysis with an accent on semiconductor device physics, fab process integration, and supplier quality management. Focus on identifying failure mechanisms, analyzing quality data, driving corrective actions, and coordinating DFM, DFT, and FMEA activities across engineering and foundry teams.
Location: Shanghai, China; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do
- Interface between semiconductor foundries and Design, Product, and Test Engineering teams.
- Improve outgoing quality, test coverage, manufacturability, and issue remediation through supplier collaboration, SCARs, scorecards, and technical audits.
- Support new product introduction, new process development, technology development, and process transfers for TVS and AMW technologies.
- Drive continuous quality improvement through data analysis, root-cause identification, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Correlate wafer sort, process evaluation, and final test activities to improve product quality.
- Lead or participate in DFM, DFT, and FMEA activities across engineering and foundry groups.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Seven or more years of experience in product engineering, design, or foundry process integration in a complex IC merchant environment.
- Strong knowledge of product engineering, semiconductor device physics, discrete and protection devices, analog/mixed-signal, and power/RF technologies.
- Practical experience with TVS/ESD protection devices, diodes, bipolar, BCD, and power/analog CMOS process technologies.
- Ability to identify semiconductor device failure mechanisms and analyze data using statistical concepts and tools.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
Nice to have
- PhD or another advanced degree in an applicable engineering or science field.
- Experience with ASMC or comparable China-based analog-power foundries.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma; Green or Black Belt certification is advantageous.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing and testing for discrete, protection, or power/analog product lines.
- Experience guiding junior engineers and managing multiple high-priority projects.
