Equipment Engineer

Location: Suzhou, China; onsite role

What you will do

• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and product failure modes, then develop corrective solutions.
• Ensure equipment operates reliably and meets production requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for planned equipment upgrades and renovations.
• Manage spare-parts drawings and inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Guide technicians' work and support the development of their technical skills.
• Lead performance improvement for key equipment indicators, including OEE, MRRT, and MTBF.

Requirements

• Experience with equipment failure analysis and root cause investigation.
• Ability to develop and implement solutions for equipment and product failure modes.
• Capability to coordinate equipment upgrades with internal and external resources.
• Experience managing spare-parts documentation and inventory.
• Ability to guide technicians and improve team technical capabilities.
