What you will do

  • Lead and develop the mechanical load cell team, including recruitment, coaching, objective setting, performance evaluation, and capability building.
  • Lead agile development and iteration of new load cell products, owning mechanical design and coordinating joint development with other teams.
  • Research emerging technologies, prepare feasibility and competitive analysis reports, and translate technology roadmaps into product development priorities.
  • Generate, validate, and implement innovative concepts based on customer and market requirements, including intellectual property development where appropriate.
  • Manage product maintenance and lifecycle support, improving the quality and performance of released products and providing technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and HR on strategic projects and customer-focused initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in a mechanical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and new product development for load cells, sensors, or comparable precision instruments.
  • At least 3 years of team or project management experience, including management of a team of 5 or more employees.
  • Experience across the product lifecycle, including concept development, mechanical design, feasibility analysis, verification and validation, industrialization, sustaining engineering, quality improvement, and technical service.
  • Experience with technology roadmaps, competitive analysis, innovation management, and intellectual property development.
  • Fluent English in speaking, listening, and writing.
