ESS Project Manager (Energy Storage)

Location: Pasadena, California, United States. Occasional site visits and travel of up to 30% are required.

What you will do

• Manage ESS project execution across production, delivery, commissioning, maintenance, and after-sales support.
• Coordinate technical design, specifications, schedules, budgets, payment collection, and project timelines.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and align scopes, milestones, and expectations with clients and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, business development, supply chain, and logistics teams.
• Review performance data, identify cost-reduction opportunities, prepare management reports, and present industry analysis.
• Conduct lessons-learned meetings and support contract negotiations, technical due diligence, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business, renewable energy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project coordination or management, preferably in solar energy or the renewable energy industry.
• Knowledge of project scheduling and management tools, solar PV, energy storage systems, and clean energy trends.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Bilingual Chinese Mandarin and English proficiency is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
