Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (On-site)

Salary: $188,000 – $254,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the global monthly and quarterly close for payroll, benefits, accounts payable, and operating expenses.
• Manage the accounting stack including NetSuite, VisualLease, Zip, Navan, and Brex.
• Write and defend accounting memos on ambiguous transactions for external audit scrutiny.
• Lead and mentor the corporate accounting team and offshore shared services.
• Drive the automation and AI roadmap to reshape financial processes as the company scales.
• Ensure SOX and internal controls readiness for clean audits.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, CA for on-site work.
• CPA license required.
• Extensive experience leading global monthly and quarterly closes at high-growth software or technology companies.
• Background in both Big 4 public accounting and in-house corporate accounting.
• Proven ability to resolve complex, judgment-heavy accounting transactions.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, VisualLease, Zip, Navan, or Brex.
• Experience with SOX compliance and SEC reporting.
