Assistant General Manager (Cannabis Retail)

Location: Harvey, Louisiana, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Support the Retail General Manager with daily store operations, opening and closing procedures, and facility upkeep.
• Lead staff training, coaching, scheduling, hiring support, employee reviews, and culture-building initiatives.
• Help achieve sales and revenue goals through team communication, customer relationships, promotions, and competitive analysis.
• Manage cash handling, till setting, deposits, inventory intake, invoices, reconciliation, stocking, and loss prevention.
• Maintain accurate online menus and support visual merchandising, loyalty programs, pop-ups, and customer experience initiatives.
• Communicate facility maintenance needs and coordinate with systems and marketing teams on promotions and events.

Requirements

• At least one year of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, service, or a cannabis-related industry.
• Experience with people management, culture building, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility.
• Microsoft Suite experience.
• Ability to clear a background check.
