What you will do

• Drive and monitor profit, sales, performance goals, operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, improving efficiency and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach Opticians, Contact Lens Sales associates, and reception staff where applicable.
• Ensure strong customer service, quality standards, merchandising, pricing promotions, and marketing execution.
• Support the General Manager with staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention.
• Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Optical license required as applicable under state law.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, build associate relationships, and manage store operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
