Location: Plano, Texas, United States — onsite at Walmart Supercenter 02883

Salary: $23.50–$33.50 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.

Walmart operates retail stores and Vision Centers providing eyewear, optical services, and customer support.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of customer and market needs.
• Lead customer service standards and resolve customer concerns within company guidelines.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center associates.
• Provide optical services, including product consultation, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repair, confidential record handling, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor compliance, safety, asset protection, quality assurance, and operational performance; implement improvement plans.
• Support community outreach, stakeholder relationships, company initiatives, and Walmart’s Open Door Policy.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or qualifying combinations of retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws and regulations.
• Experience with customer service, supervision, sales, inventory, compliance, and optical operations.
