Optical Manager Full Time (Optical Retail)

Location: Hyannis, MA #0321, United States; onsite optical department role

Salary: Starting from $45.00 per hour for a Licensed Optical Manager. Non-licensed Optical Manager hourly compensation is determined at the time of offer; additional Manager Bonus and spiff programs may apply.

What you will do

• Manage, teach, coach, and supervise the Optical department team.
• Provide Member service, answer calls, schedule eye exams, and address concerns.
• Support eyeglass adjustments, measurements, prescription reading, order paperwork, payments, and product readiness notifications.
• Coordinate with the optical lab, Club Manager, Regional Optical Manager, and doctors to support timely order processing and department performance.
• Drive sales and performance metrics by educating patients about optical products and maintaining accurate operational processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe department and deliver daily GOLD club standards.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to work as an optician in the state and maintain an active, current license.
• Leadership experience managing or supervising teams, training team members, and communicating results.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Access to patient information requires discretion and compliance with HIPAA and company privacy policies.
• Open shift availability, regular full attendance, and age 18 or older are required.
• High school diploma, college degree, or experience in wholesale, retail, optical, or management is preferred.
