Licensed Optician - General Manager (Optical Retail)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy compliance.
• Lead, coach, train, recruit, and retain associates while managing schedules and performance evaluations.
• Drive sales, profitability, budgets, merchandising, promotional initiatives, and business performance.
• Monitor customer and patient experiences and partner with the Doctor to support quality care.
• Conduct store audits and maintain quality, service, merchandising, corporate, and safety standards.
• Communicate with the District Manager and provide accurate operational reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
