Metrology Technician (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Install and qualify laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, and associated control software according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform calibrations, verifications, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while maintaining compliant documentation.
• Support analytical instrumentation and instrument software validation.
• Maintain equipment inventories, preventive maintenance programs, consumables, spare parts, and database records.
• Monitor equipment systems and alerts, coordinate after-hours coverage, and support emergency response and business continuity activities.
• Maintain metrology procedures, provide audit documentation, train employees, and identify process, quality, safety, and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted.
• At least 6 months of laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience operating basic laboratory measuring and test equipment.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment, resolve process issues, and manage multiple priorities.
• Applicable certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
