Sr. Manager, Color Design - HOKA Lifestyle Footwear

Location: Portland, Oregon (in office)

Salary: $122,300–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead color design for priority lifestyle footwear projects and build dynamic color tools and strategies.
• Develop seasonal palettes, annual franchise concepts, and long-term color direction for HOKA footwear.
• Explore new concepts and blue-sky opportunities that express HOKA’s challenger and creator spirit.
• Collaborate with design, product, brand, merchandising, and business partners to deliver commercially effective products.
• Manage creation calendars for inline, collaboration, and SMU projects, from concept through final product.
• Set creative direction, mentor designers, and contribute to seasonal kickoff, travel, and inspiration planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial design, product design, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in color design, preferably in lifestyle footwear.
• Expertise in color theory, regional and global trends, and footwear materials, construction, and processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Miro, or Lucid.
• Expertise leading generative AI platforms such as Midjourney or Vizcom.
• Portfolio demonstrating macro trend insights, color direction, creative excellence, and footwear color application.
