What you will do

• Lead and manage the front-end development team, including daily operations, technical vision, resourcing, headcount, and recruiting.
• Guide development of performant, accessible, maintainable, efficient, and visually effective digital experiences.
• Collaborate with strategists, designers, architects, project managers, and other agency disciplines to deliver client solutions.
• Review code, provide career guidance, and establish front-end standards and best practices.
• Evaluate tools and technologies for security, performance, and maintainability.
• Support business development through solution recommendations, estimates, and front-end subject-matter expertise.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including advanced CSS techniques and CSS preprocessors such as SASS.
• Expertise in WCAG accessibility, responsive websites, cross-browser compatibility, performant code, design systems, and the connection between Figma libraries and code repositories.
• Familiarity with major JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular, as well as Git, Webpack, Gulp, animation libraries, SVGs, and third-party library integration.
• Experience building web applications with Node and Express and working with MongoDB/Mongoose.
• Experience leading projects and teams, with strong communication, collaboration, time-management, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to remain adaptable, open to new ideas, detail-oriented, and committed to front-end development standards.
