Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: London, UK; hybrid. The role may require eligibility for UK Developed Vetting (DV) and occasional on-site work with government clients.

What you will do

• Build client-facing products with data scientists, data engineers, design specialists, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Prioritise, plan, coordinate, and communicate frontend features with internal and external stakeholders.
• Set up and maintain development and deployment infrastructure for the frontend team.
• Define and enforce frontend engineering best practices and standards across hirify.global.
• Create and maintain reusable component libraries for company-wide project use.
• Train, mentor, onboard, and provide frontend engineering guidance to other engineers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building scalable, maintainable, and well-tested web applications with React.
• High proficiency in ES6 JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript or other typed languages.
• Experience with data visualisation techniques and implementations such as d3.
• Exposure to cloud deployment platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong focus on technical excellence, including setting standards and mentoring others in a collaborative, high-performing culture.
