What you will do

• Develop embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers on interfaces, operational performance requirements, and system design.
• Create software test procedures, programs, and technical documentation.
• Use modeling tools, conduct experimental tests, evaluate results, and participate in peer reviews.
• Track and repair software defects across Windows, Linux, mobile, and embedded real-time operating systems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field.
• A bachelor’s degree completed within the last 12 months is also accepted.
• Experience or coursework with software development and embedded systems is relevant to the role.
• Ability to work at the Yorba Linda, California location.
• Some positions may require eligibility to obtain a security clearance; clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

• C++, C, C#, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, .NET, Unix, or Linux.
• SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless technologies, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, or embedded systems.
